DJ Lady PChaz M. Cunningham Coggins, better known as DJ Lady P, weaves a lifetime of rhythm into every event she energizes.
Long Beach-born, Inland Empire/Los Angeles raised, music and poetry-fueled since elementary school, Chaz transitioned from the poetic Miss CC-Lady Poetist into a formidable presence in the DJ world.
By 26, her dream took flight on the airwaves as one of Urban Soul Radio's first female DJs with the Beyond the Mic Radio Show. Her electric presence has energized a spectrum of venues—from Eric Bellinger's Single Release Skate Party, traveled from coast to coast, to prestigious events for Grammy-winning artists and notable celebrities like Mali Music, Glasses Malone and more, weddings, various functions, Sierra Canyon Sports Department has also rocked to her sound, further testament to her versatility and appeal.
With R&B, Hip Hop, Reggae, Afrobeats, 90's, Old School hits and a plethora of music versatility in her arsenal, DJ Lady P fills dance floors and provides the heartbeat for celebrated occasions. A vital part of IMG Radio Network's administrative team, Brand Ambassador/Model for The Black Rose Collection, she knows that "Music is the sound of Emotion" and lives by this creed, merging skill, zeal, and an infectious personality to surpass all expectations.
