DJ J-Hill$

Coming from a musical family where his dad plays guitar, one brother sings and plays piano, another plays drums, and his mom is a passionate line dancer, J-Hill$ has been immersed in music my whole life.

He joined the band in 6th grade and continued through high school, later marching for 4 years in the NC A&T State University drumline, Cold Steel.

During the COVID pandemic, J-Hill$ discovered his love for skating and was captivated by the music that defined the rink experience. Inspired, he began DJing and seamlessly transferred his lifelong musical knowledge into this art form.

His home skating rink is in Greensboro, North Carolina, but J-Hill$ is proud to be a resident DJ at United Skates of America in Raleigh, NC, and Kate’s Skating Rinks in Charlotte, NC. Beyond these venues, he travels extensively, bringing his sound to skating rinks and events far and wide.

DJ J-Hill$ specializes in house music, soul, disco, hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeat, and skate remixes specifically Chicago JB style slow Jams, amapiano, reggae, funk, gogo, gospel.
