Dante

Born and raised in North London, Dante has been DJing since 1996, having been involved in many music scenes over the years and has played alongside industry leading DJs and artists.

He first rose to prominence whilst living in the North of England, establishing himself as a leading regional DJ, appearing as both a regular guest and resident in many towns and cities including Manchester, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Hull, Nottingham and Sheffield.

Upon returning to London, he held a key residency at North London’s Oval and KO nightclubs. Dante joined prominent house music station Push FM, first as a DJ and later also as management. He also featured as a regular guest on Chris Philip’s Choice FM weekly radio show.

In 2007, whilst at the Detroit Movement Festival, Dante was taken to Soul Skate, having never skated before. This one night changed him forever and upon returning to London, he became addicted to skating, becoming an active member of London’s skate scene, and also playing at Renaissance Rooms in Vauxhall.

Dante has returned to Detroit numerous times, working with the Soul Skate team and also helped to organise the Soul Skate London event in 2012.

In recent years Dante has focussed on production, working closely with fellow producers and artists including Reel People. In 2024 Dante created the DubSkate platform, as a means to promote skate DJs, music, events, venues and culture.
